Quiz
Quizzes with answers and explanations
Three quiz types: a trivia quiz, plus two Korean dialect quizzes — Gyeongsang and Jeju. Light learning content where one or two new words become a small daily takeaway.
The Gyeongsang dialect quiz draws 15 questions from a 200-item pool each round. Items like ‘디비지다’, ‘단디’, and ‘머라카노’ ask for the standard-Korean meaning, with a 4-tier grade ranging from ‘Gyeongsang native’ to ‘dialect rookie’ based on accuracy. Jeju dialect retains older forms of Korean and frequently uses words that diverge sharply from standard, such as ‘하영’ (a lot) or ‘바당’ (sea).
The trivia quiz pulls 15 from a 30-item pool spanning science, history, culture, and geography. Every question carries a one-line explanation so misses become learning moments, and the result page provides a full scorecard for review.

Frequently asked questions
QAre the quiz questions the same every time?
No. Each round pulls 15 random items — from a 200-question pool for the Gyeongsang dialect quiz and a 30-question pool for trivia. You get a different mix on every retry, so it's worth playing repeatedly.
QHow are dialect grades assigned?
By accuracy, in four tiers. The Gyeongsang quiz ranges from ‘Gyeongsang native’ down to ‘dialect rookie’ — the higher your accuracy, the higher the grade.
QWhy is the Jeju dialect harder?
Jeju retains many older forms of Korean, so words like ‘하영’ (a lot) or ‘바당’ (sea) differ sharply from standard Korean. That makes guessing the standard meaning harder than with other dialects.
QCan I see the answers to questions I missed?
Yes. Every question has a one-line explanation, and the result scorecard shows all answers at once, turning misses into learning moments.
QAre the quizzes free?
All quizzes are free with no signup required. Start right away, check your score, and share results with friends.
