What is tetepick?
tetepick is a collection of bite-sized daily tests for casual moments. MBTI 16 types, brain-style self-check, saju fortune, zodiac and animal-year readings, cat tarot, personal color, dialect quizzes, reaction-time and memory games — 23 in one place.
The name blends ‘test’ and ‘pick’ — choose whichever one catches your eye right now, enjoy it lightly, and learn one more piece about yourself. For some it's a five-minute breather on the commute; for others, an opener for a conversation with friends.
No signup needed and entirely free. What you enter for saju, self-checks, and fortunes stays in your browser and is never sent externally; only score-based games record an anonymous nickname on the leaderboard.

How results are generated
Each test produces its result differently. MBTI 16 Types measures all four Myers-Briggs axes (E/I, S/N, T/F, J/P) with 10 questions each — 40 in total — and sums the scores. Saju fortune converts your birth date and time into the eight characters of heavenly stems and earthly branches, then layers the day's energy on top. The reaction-time test measures the gap between the color change and your click across five rounds and averages them.
The stress self-check uses Cohen's PSS-10 scale verbatim across its 10 items. Dialect quizzes draw their questions from expressions actually in use, each with a one-line explanation. Cat tarot reads the 22 Major Arcana in upright and reversed positions against the topic you pick — love, work, money, and so on.
Every result is computed by fixed rules, so the same input always yields the same result. Date-dependent content like fortunes refreshes every midnight, showing a different flow each day.
These tests are for fun and light self-understanding. Personality checks and fortunes do not replace medical or clinical diagnosis, and results should be taken as reference only.
Ways to use it
On your own, it's great for a quick check of today's fortune before work or bed, or revisiting your personality type when you're suddenly curious. With friends or a partner, comparing results is an easy conversation starter, and you can capture the result card to share on social media.
Reaction-time and memory games suit a short burst of focus, while dialect quizzes and the flag quiz are fun to tackle together at family gatherings or in group chats. Scores and accuracy are kept on the leaderboard under an auto-generated anonymous nickname, giving you a reason to come back and try again.
How this site is run
tetepick is planned, built, and maintained by one person writing under the handle ‘40대개발자’ — Korean for “a developer in their forties”. It is not a company or a team, just a small personal project that grows one test at a time.
Questions and result write-ups are not scraped from elsewhere or mass-generated; each test is written from scratch around its own topic. Content rooted in tradition, like saju, astrology, and tarot, follows widely shared interpretations, but the wording and structure are written fresh.
Fortunes refresh at midnight each day. Other tests are revised whenever questions or explanations get reworked, or a new test is added. The ‘Last updated’ date at the top of this page shows when the site was last tended to.
